Pickleball (a combination of tennis, ping pong, and badminton) is the fastest growing sport in the country. It’s easy to learn, fun to play, and great exercise for players of all ages. Falconbridge pickleball has been going strong since 2017 when a small group of residents converted the long neglected tennis courts into pickleball courts. Beginning in 2022, the Falconbridge community formed the Falconbridge Pickleball Club. AND with donations from our members and friends, we were very excited to resurface the courts this spring (2023).
Everyone who lives in Falconbridge—and wants to play pickleball here—is invited to join the Pickleball Club.
The courts are owned by the Falconbridge Homeowners Association (FHA/Townhome association), but they are maintained exclusively by the Pickleball Club members. All townhome owners are automatically eligible to join the Pickleball Club. Single-family homeowners must be either “All Access” or “Limited Access” Recreational Facilities members to join the Club. (Please note: You do not need to be an Alliance member to join the Pickleball Club.) All active pickleball players, both townhomes and single-family, must pay a yearly pickleball court maintenance fee ($25 in 2024) that is independent of the fee for the Recreational Facilities Membership.
The first step to becoming a member of the Falconbridge Pickleball Club is to sign up with the FHA Recreational Facilities Committee (RFC). For more information and to sign up, please visit the Pool Web Page.
New members will receive an orientation and must sign liability waivers. The courts are open only to Pickleball Club members and their guests. There are groups at every level of play, equipment to loan out, and free lessons. We would love to have you join us!
