The Falconbridge Pond, aka Thomson Lake, was originally a farm pond on land owned by the Thomson family who built an earthen dam over 50 years ago to create the pond. The land was sold to the developer of Falconbridge in the early 1980s and later came to be owned by the Falconbridge Homeowners Association, the HOA of the 163 townhome owners whose monthly dues pay for the maintenance of the pond, dam and adjacent land.
The Falconbridge HOA welcomes all Falconbridge residents, townhome and single family homeowners alike, to enjoy the walking path around the pond as well as fishing in the pond. For the protection of the dam and safety of residents, the HOA requires everyone to stay off the sides of the dam and also to keep off the fenced in area between the dam and Huntingridge Rd.
